This Presentation assignment is given to us in order to broaden students’ knowledge and awareness in contemporary business issues.
Students will have to choose an issue and do research about it and then present it in front of the class.
Other than that, the purpose of this assignment is to educate students on the importance of business ehtics and social responsibility.
The topic that we have choose to talk about is "Land Pollution",we related the land pollution with businesses nowadays.
Land pollution happens in many country and we have listed a few country in our presentation, we also explained the causes and effect of land pollution, nevertheless we also stated the solution for land pollution that is getting more and more serious.
But after explaining all the aspect I've stated above, me and my group have acted a role play in order to let the audience understand more about the "Lang Pollution".
My group members are Lee Chaer Shean, Chan Boon Haw, Cecilia Tie and me, Soo Xiao Wen.
I really have a lot fun throughout this presentation and I really feel thankful for having such good group members.

A role-play performed during Lesson 5: Leading Your People.
The role-play is about a group of war refugees who have arrived in Malaysia and hope to start a new life.
The concept that is relevant to this role-play is the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. According to Maslow, a person usually will satisfy hisbasic needs first before he attends to the more advance needs.

FNBE Charity Drive Event
The FNBE Business Charity Drive Event is the final project of Introduction to Business module.
It was held during week 13th, from the 11th of November to 15th of November 2013. The goal of this project is to raise RM2000 for one of the organization. We have choosen to help WWF, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The animals are going to extinct soon so we have choosen this organization in order to prevent the animal from extinct.
Our group consist of five people, Edward, Lim Pui Yee, Lee Chaer Shean, Chan Boon Haw and me, Soo Xiao Wen. We name our business as Lalala Vintage because the main product that we are selling is bracelet which have the vintage style.During the charity drive, we choose to sell snakcs, bracelet and fruit to reach our target, RM2000.
The total amount of the donation and sponsorship we raised during the business charity drive is RM1002 and the amount we earned from selling our products is RM 1012.32.
We used social network to advertise our business, for example we have a Facebook page and an instagram account.

Reflective Essay
Reflective essay Business After six months attending the business module with Mr. Joe, I realize that business subject is different from what I always think it is. It is not boring because we have a good lecture, Mr. Joe which always make the class interesting and use many different ways to teach us, as an example, presentation, role play, group discussion and others to make us understand more about the module.
The most memorable assignment to me throughout the whole module is the FNBE charity drive assignment, I understand that starting a business is not an easy job. There are many procedure, we have to plan the organizational structure between our group member, some of us have to calculate the amount of money used and earned, some of us have to buy the stock, some have to go around the campus to ask for donation. It is not an easy job but after the whole process I think it is fun and I really enjoyed the whole assignment. We get to help the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) organization and at the same time we get to learn new knowledge about starting a new business.
Overall, I learnt a lot from all the assignments and the lecture that is given by Mr. Joe. Topics like starting a new business, organizational structure, price skimming and all are learnt. I get to understand business subject in a new perspective and I think it is not as boring as I thought it is.
I really enjoyed attending this module, thank you Mr. Joe. :)
