Bachelor of Science (Honor) in Architecture
Design Communication
This module introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings and modelling to prepare students with the skills required in Design projects. These skills are taught through a series of freehand, constructed drawing, and architectural modelling held both outdoors and in the studio.

Project 1a - Sketches

Through this assignment, I've got the chance to learn how to on site sketching, and how to use different tones of pencil shading.
This assignment is quite fun because i get to go around everywhere to skecth on site. Giving me a whole new experience comparing to sketching from the photo we took.
Project 1b - 4 Hatching

This assignment really trains me a lot, especially training my patience when i am doing the stippling one.
I have learn how to render in different kind of ways, this really helps me a lot in other assignments.
Project 2a - Orthographic

This assignment requires us to be very detail in our work. We have to study and understand about the building itself then only we can do the elevaton and section.
The section is quite challenging because we need to study about the detail inside, then only we can know the arrangement of it.
After this assignment, I have learnt how to use technical pen and after a few redos, I have trained myself to finish a technical drawing in a very short time.
Project 2b - Axonometric

Axonometric is a very magical assignment. With a set square and a plan, I get to create a 3D drawing.
I love this assignment a lot because it is very special.
Project 2c - Perspective

In this assignment we have to follow the "golden rule" to draw out the perspective.
Although the rule is very cool, but it is very limited, we used a very big piece of paper to create a very small perspective.
But in the end the product is very cool and neat comparing to the perspective we draw using free hand.
